And prize question: which international artist was the first to play in the Valencian booths?Génesis: escena clubber posbacalao en la Comunidad Valencia, 1996-2010, is an oral story organized chronologically that features the participation of fifty protagonists who managed to develop, with many obstacles even from the industry itself, a new concept of night after the bacalao stage. This is what is also known as the birth of Valencian clubbing. Some key figures in understanding the genesis of an electronic scene that, after several years of stagnation, thanks to their perseverance and effort, was once again at the level of other European regions.

AUTHORS

Pablo Ferrer and Alberto Sola, co-authors of Génesis, have been responsible for this book which has the testimony of more than fifty artists, designers, promoters, etc., many of them active, who formed the wave of musical change that since mid-90s to early 2000s, caused a true 'genesis' of the Valencian clubbing scene.Pablo Ferrer (València, 1978) has a degree in Journalism from the University of Valencia (2000-2005). He has written "La Santísima Trinidad: El sonido del pop electrónico de masas. 4 décadas de Depeche Mode, New Order y Pet Shop Boys".Alberto Sola (València, 1978) is a technical engineer in Telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). He was the resident DJ of the Barraca nightclub between 2004 and 2009.
